My Big Helper

Marcus and I get to spend a lot of time together while Emma is gone at school. Sometimes I have a hard finding things to keep him busy and if I don't, he gets into trouble. The other day he wanted to help me clean, so I gave him a job that he could take care of....

Washing his Window.

What a big helper!

Crazy Morning

The other morning was a crazy one. Not that anything bad was happening,
but the kids were literally acting crazy.

Here is a picture of Marcus that morning...

He was having a blast dressing up in Emma's Hannah Montana clothes...haha.

Basking

The other day Emma was playing out side and I went to check on her and this is what I found.

Emma, Basking in the sun.

Needless to say, we are enjoying the sun here in Utah.

Friday Night Pizzas

Friday Night we had Pizza Night. We made our own pizzas, which the kids always love doing.

I thought that I would take the chance to snap a couple shops of my cute kids.

I love these kids!

Spring Baseball

This little guy LOVES to play ball...

Really any kind of ball,

but lately, he loves to play catch with his daddy.

He is getting his Spring practice in while we have nice weather.

One of my favorite things is to watch how excited he gets when he plays...

especially when he gets to play with his daddy.

This was taken over the weekend

Colorful.

I have decided that all my projects have overtaken my blog that originally was made to journal my family adventures. So last week I decided to get rid of my food and cupcake blogs and combine them into one blog with all of my house projects. The new name...

Colorful Cravings.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

For the next couple of weeks a lot of the things that I post will be repeats as I populate my blog with old projects and recipes.

(I will keep a link on the right hand side of this blog so that you all can link up when you want)

Easter Photos

I always try and get pictures of the kids in their Easter clothes, but this time it didn't work out quite as well. I got a few cute pictures of them individually, but not many of them together. Neither of them wanted to stop playing and pose. I decided to just get some pictures of them on the playground while they were playing. I love my kids. They make me smile!

Friends

We always jump at the chance to hang out with old friends when they are in town. Our frined Laura and her kids were in town from Conneticut and we took advantage. We decided to have an Easter egg hung for the kids, but mostly just hang out and chat. Here are some picture of the day.

We were sad to be missing Tara who now lives in Georgia. Otherwise we would have had the whole condo clan together.

Marcus (sleeping through the Easter Egg hunt...he was so tired)

Hanging out at Rebecca's new house.

Braden using the Nerf gun (seemed to be the popular toy of the day)

Easter Morning

I am so grateful this Easter Morning for my Savior Jesus Christ. He is the author of my salvation and because of that knowledge he can bring us hope and perspective as we face challenges in this life. We can find comfort in the assurance that the Savior lives and that through His Atonement, "he breaketh the bands of death, that the grave shall have no victory, and that the sting of death should be swallowed up in the hopes of glory" (Alma 22:14)

What a better way to spend Easter than hearing modern day Apostles Testify of him just like the Apostles of Old did after seeing his flesh and bones after the resurrection.

We have a tradition in our family on Easter. Easter is about spending time with our family. Eric and Emma build a fort every year in the living room and sleep in it together. We intended for Marcus to join this year, but he fell asleep too early. He must still be recovering. Here are some pictures from the fun...

Here are the kids this morning having fun together....

And now for the superficial part of Easter. The remains of Easter Baskets...

Marcus' new outfit, candy, chalk and puzzle. We woke up this morning to Marcus knocking on our door. He walked in and said look and held up some peeps. He had already started exploring his Easter Basket on his own...he is such a funny kid.
Here is Emma showing off her bubbles and new dress in front of the snowing background....yeah, we got like 2 inches last night. Nothing like snow to say 'Happy Easter' (can you hear the sarcasm?!)
And the thing the kids were most excited about, new piggy banks...
It has been a good start to the day, but we can only wait for it to continue that way...

Happy Easter Everyone!
