Update on Baby

I just thought that I would let you all know that the end is coming soon. I cant believe how long the last couple weeks of pregnancy take. I have been so miserable that I guess each day seems like a week. I did go to the doctor today and got some very good news. Last week I was dialated to a 1 and 60% effaced. This week I am dialated to a 3 and 80 % effaced. That is very good news. Eric asked the doctor "what are her chances of having the baby this week", after he said that his crystal ball was broken, he said it was 60% likely that I would have the baby this week. I am not going to plan on it, but it would be nice if I had the baby in the next 2 weeks. My actual due date is Oct. 11th, and any day before that would be wonderful. Stay Tuned!

Emma Cooking

Emma and I had a cooking day this week. I was feeling a little adventurous and thought that I would help Eric by preparing 6 meals that could be frozen and just popped into the oven when I have the baby. That way Eric can help me out with out having to go buy dinner every night. Emma was very anxious to help. She did make a HUGE mess though. My batteries on my camera died, otherwise I would have a picture of her covered in flour. We did have fun though.

Marcus

Marcus is starting to make his prescense know in our home. Even though he has not arrived yet Mom seems to complain of him kicking basically all of the time, Emma likes to talk about how she is going to help and Eric likes to think about finally having a boy and being able to teach him boy things (without trying to convert his little girl). The baby room is slowly coming together, but the biggest piece of the bed was put up last night after Grandma and Grandpa McAllister gave Marcus a Reds baseball Mobile. Eric set it up and put it on the bed as soon as he got home from his dad's house. Needless to say, we are all counting down the days till our little boy arrives. 5 weeks and counting!

Posing

Emma would kill me if I didnt share these pictures with you. She decided that she loves the camera now. I have to hide it when I am not using it or I will find her in her room trying to take pictures of everything. When you tell her to say cheese she will lean to one side or put her hands on her hips, or put her hands up around her face. I thought that everyone would appreciate these pictures. Please enjoy.

BYU Football vs. Arizona

We went to the season opener for BYU Football on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. It is Emma's first year where she really knows what is going on. She is mostly interested in Cosmo (the mascot). She was sitting at the top of the stadium yelling "Cosmo, where are you?". We also went to a tailgate party where Emma got her face painted with a BYU Cougar Paw. It was really cute. She also enjoyed her grandpa spoiling her by buying her popcorn and drinks. She loves her grandpa and he loves her. He would do anything if she asked him.

We really enjoyed the game and really look forward to BYU having a great season. GO COUGARS!
