Hanging Out

This week has been pretty uneventful. These are some pictures of the kids hanging out at home. I think the day that I took these pictures we may have even stayed in our pajamas all day. I have been wanting a day with nothing on the calendar for a while, and I finally got it, and that is what I did with it...oh well.

Emma had to have a crown put on one of her teeth this week. Apparently her Enamel is horrible. They planned on just doing a filling, and when they went in they decided that it wasnt enough. In the pic below, she is trying to show you her ghetto silver crown in the back of her mouth. The stroller that she is carrying is the toy she got for being so good at the dentist. I was really impressed with how well she did. She didnt even really cry.

Conference Weekend

I love watching General Conference. It always lifts my spirit and helps me refocus on the things that are more needed in my life.

We were watching conference this morning. President Uchdorf stood to speak and Emma yells...'Oh, It's President Monson's Buddy!'. I couldnt help but laugh. I dont know where she learned it, but at least she knows who President Monson is.

Family Shower/Dinner

I have decided that I really like Tawni's future family (soon to be in-laws). Her Aunt-in-law threw a shower/ dinner for the couple the other night, and we were lucky enough to be able to go. Here are some pictures from the evening.
Emma feeding the fish out back by the fish pond. They have a beautiful backyard. The fish would come right up to the surface and open their mouths. You could practically pet them. It was really cute. Emma and Marcus both loved it.

Here is a pic of the adorable couple. They are both goofy, so you can never get a straight face out of both of them at the same time.

My kids hanging out at the party having fun. The house that the party was at was beautiful, but I found myself baby-proofing the house throughout the night. She had some beautiful glass balls laying around on the coffee table and such, and the kids wanted to throw the balls. Luckily Debbie was super cool and even wants to baby sit my kids. She doesnt have any grand kids of her own yet.
Here is Tawni and her future Mother - in -law Lorraine. Tawni is very lucky...she has a wonderful mother in law. Lorraine is such a wonderful person and has helped tawni with a lot of the wedding plans. She even made all 6 bridesmaid dresses...how awesome is that.

Flashback Friday

This flashback Friday is in honor of my family coming into town this week. I am so excited to see everyone, especially when it is because of a fun event like a wedding. My big sister tawni is getting married on Wednesday. I am so excited for her. She is such an amazing example to me.

This picture was taken outside the Salt Lake Temple after I got married. I guess my dad was thankful for the kiss on the cheek. Isnt he funny!

This is a picture of my beautiful mom. I love her so much and can't wait to hang out with her. I haven't seen her in a while.

We rubbed off on them....

I guess Eric and I have rubbed off on our kids. We asked them where they wanted to go for lunch, and they answered immediately. This is a video of Marcus telling us where we were going to eat.

So, if you couldn't hear what he said or couldn't tell what he said, he said 'Rio' , Which means Cafe Rio. For those of you who don't live in Utah, Cafe Rio is a Mexican restaurant that we love.

FLashback Friday - Swimming

Most of you know that I use to be a swimmer. I use to love to swim. I swam competitively for 17 years and experienced some great things because of my swimming. I love these pictures of me. They were taken at an Oak Ridge High School Swim Meet. Those were some very fun times for me.

I have dreams (probably weekly) that I am still swimming or training or competing. I really do miss it. Mostly I miss the feeling of being in that good of shape. Maybe one day when my kids are in school I can start swimming again for fun. For now I swim to workout, and that is about it.

Flashback Friday for becky and gail

This is basically what we did every Friday night. We hung out, laughed, cryed (from laughing so hard), laughed some more, ate ice cream, watched run away bride, invited boys to watch run away bride with us, laughed some more.....I think you get the idea. Those were the fun days...No worries. I miss hanging out with you ladies.
